Digital Archive of Self-Published Comics

Thursday by John Hankiewicz, 2020. 20 pages, black and white, photo copied interiors, handcolored lithograph cover, sewn binding. Self-published.

A note on this comic written by the author: This comic adapts chapter 8 of G. K. Chesterton's The Man Who Was Thursday. I drew it several years ago, but only recently had it printed up and created a litho cover for it. It was intended to be part of a multi-cartoonist adaptation of Chesterton's novel. That project never came to completion. Though this is a chapter presented out of context, it stands alone pretty well as narrative. (The full text of the novel is available online.)
